Beyah Cares For You is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering teenagers and young adults (ages 13–24) with emotional and behavioral challenges. We facilitate life skills development through evidence-based programming, including the Thinking for a Change curriculum, skill-builder activities, and holistic education. Our mission is to promote healthy, independent living and emotional regulation for underserved youth.

We envision a future where every young person—regardless of their challenges—has the emotional strength, social awareness, and practical skills to lead a healthy, purpose-driven life.

1. Deliver Impactful, Evidence-Based Programs
  Implement and sustain the Thinking for a Change curriculum and other skill-building activities that support life skills, emotional regulation, and healthy living.
  → Success metric: Serve at least 50–100 youth in year one with 70% showing measurable improvement in emotional awareness or life skills.

2. Build a Strong Operational Foundation
  Establish the core structure of the organization—including trained facilitators, a stable leadership team, and reliable administrative processes.
  → Success metric: Fully staffed core team (e.g., Executive Director, 2–3 facilitators, admin/volunteer coordinator) and operational policies documented.

3. Secure Sustainable Funding
  Develop a fundraising strategy that includes grants, individual donors, and local sponsorships.
  → Success metric: Raise at least $100,000 in first 12–18 months through grants and donations.

4. Increase Community Awareness and Engagement
  Build relationships with schools, community leaders, churches, and families to promote trust and increase program participation.
  → Success metric: At least 5 local partnerships and 300+ individuals reached through outreach events, social media, or info sessions.

5. Establish a Safe, Accessible Program Location
  Secure and furnish a welcoming, accessible space in the MODABA area for after-school and summer programming.
  → Success metric: Secure a long-term location by end of year one with space to serve at least 20 youth per session.

6. Develop a Youth-Centered Program Culture
  Ensure programming is inclusive, empowering, and youth-led where possible.
  → Success metric: Establish a Youth Advisory Board and include their input in program design and events.

7. Track and Report Outcomes
  Create a simple but effective monitoring and evaluation system to track progress, outcomes, and challenges.
  → Success metric: Collect pre/post surveys from 80% of participants and submit 2–3 outcome reports to funders annually.

8. Position for Long-Term Growth
  Lay the groundwork to replicate or expand programming to new neighborhoods or age groups.
  → Success metric: Create a 3-year strategic plan and identify a second service site by end of year two.
